Early parenthood is a special time for you and your baby. Attending to your needs and your baby's needs is an evolving process and a lifelong task. I have over 20 years of experience working with families to find their unique rhythms that meet the everchanging needs of all family members. As a result of this experience, I have come to learn two truths: all families have strengths and all families want to be successful. Two questions I ask parents: who do you want to be as a family and what values do you want to have? I administer a variety of assessments and screening tools to help parents identify their current needs and stressors, their challenging routines, their enjoyable times of the day, as well as their child’s current level of social-emotional functioning. From there, together, we will create a roadmap for their vision. We then use this roadmap to guide day-to-day interactions between the parent and their child towards helping the family reflect their values and their vision, optimizing social-emotional wellness for all members. I would be delighted to help you discover your family’s uniqueness and ways to establish positive, strength-based responses to your child's developmental needs.
